A whimsical wedding, set in a historic restored farmhouse in the Catskill mountains of upstate NY, during a warm summer day. What more can you ask for, besides an energetic doggy groomsman perhaps? Oh wait, they have that too!
The Catskills were always a special place for me, I spent my early teen summers there, out of the heat of NYC, and I get this familiar, nostalgic, warm feeling whenever I am up there. There is history in the Catskills - ancient, geological, and human. The historic home beautifully restored and maintained at Spillian carries that tradition of artists, nature and history lovers who are drawn to these mountains to create and share. Marta and Lee’s wedding had just enough whimsy to not overdo it, while remaining intimate and down to earth. A perfect fit for this space. The dancing by the bonfire at night sealed it for me!
